Chiltern Security provides security installation and related services including, but not limited to:

  • Intruder alarms
  • CCTV & video surveillance
  • Door entry systems
  • Access control systems
  • Wireless fire detection (AJAX FireProtect 2 only)

We operate in Beaconsfield and surrounding areas.

3. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are provided based on the information available at the time
  • Quotations are valid for the period stated (or 30 days if not specified)
  • Prices may change if the scope of work changes or unforeseen issues arise
  • Any additional work will be discussed and agreed before proceeding

Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in GBP.

4. Services & Installation

  • Installation dates are agreed in advance and subject to availability
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring access to the premises
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by lack of access, site conditions, or third-party factors
  • Installations are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry standards

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the site and requirements
  • Ensure safe access to the property
  • Inform us of any known hazards or restrictions
  • Obtain any required permissions (e.g. landlord or freeholder consent)

6. Payments

  • Payment terms will be agreed in writing
  • Deposits may be required before work begins
  • Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed
  • Late payments may result in delays or suspension of services

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We request reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling
  • Late cancellations may result in charges to cover incurred costs
  • Deposits may be non-refundable once work has commenced or materials ordered

8. Warranties & Guarantees

  • Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturer unless stated otherwise
  • Our workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period, subject to normal use
  • Warranties do not cover misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, or third-party interference

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence

10. Maintenance & Monitoring

Where maintenance or monitoring services are offered:

  • Terms will be provided separately
  • Ongoing services are subject to continued payment and agreement
  • We are not responsible for failures caused by power, internet, or mobile network outages
